There is an innapropriate amount of want going on
It's even reasonably priced, relative to current E30 prices. I've seen auto 325i verts go for this much.

“No test drives without cash in hand. Clean title in hand.” I hate that bullshit. I get the principal, but it sounds super douchey.

So if it took you two years to put together, why are you selling it? This screams out - PROBLEMS A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD. At least to me, the asshole that demands cars be stock.

LS1 E30 M3 project does seem like a valid reason...but yeah, that could be bs. I dunno, there are only so many things that can go wrong with these, if I had the money I'd be all over it

It bothers me, and then I remember all the shitheads I’ve dealt with while selling cars, including once that ripped the valence off my old E30 during a test drive. So while it does sound douchey, I totally get it

I get that, I also don’t like CL, but then it is free but you get all the scum cause it is free. Which is why I don’t want to sell my 1 series on CL, probably gonna go for autotrader and avoid some of the scum.

So instead of using the easy to work on M60B40 V8 from the E34 530i, he used the engine that marked the start of BMW’s ‘difficult to work on unless you are a dealer’ engines? How silly.

Is the M62 notably harder to work on than the M60? That's unfortunate, other than that, it's a pretty great engine choice. More torque than an M60, better fuel economy, and it's pre-VANOS. The only part I don't know is the OBD2 aspects. I really only know OBD1 BMWs
